Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role based in Cwmbrân South Wales for a Google Ads / PPC Specialist. The specialist will plan, build, and optimise Google Ads and other PPC campaigns, including search, shopping, display, and You Tube, to drive measurable results for client accounts. Daily responsibilities include keyword research, audience and bid strategy development, ad copy testing, budget management, and performance monitoring using analytics and reporting tools.
The role involves collaborating with account managers, creative teams, and data specialists to align paid media activity with broader performance marketing strategies. The specialist will also prepare clear performance reports, communicate insights to clients and internal stakeholders, and stay up to date with platform changes and best practices to continuously improve campaign outcomes.
- Strong digital marketing and online marketing skills, with hands-on experience managing PPC campaigns (especially Google Ads) in performance-focused environments.
- Proficiency in web analytics and measurement tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, conversion tracking) to analyse data and make data-driven optimisations.
- Understanding of social media marketing and how paid search and paid social work together within integrated growth strategies.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain complex performance data clearly to clients and colleagues.
- Experience managing significant ad budgets and optimising toward ROAS, CPA, or other performance KPIs.
- Familiarity with eCommerce and lead-generation funnels, including landing page testing and conversion rate optimisation.
- Ability to work on-site in Cwmbrân, collaborate in cross-functional teams, and manage multiple campaigns and deadlines.
- Beneficial:
Google Ads certifications, prior agency experience, and practical knowledge of other paid platforms (e.g., Meta Ads, Spotify Ads).
