Job Overview PLEASE NOTE THAT WE WILL ONLY ACCEPT APPLICATIONS FROM STAFF CURRENTLY EMPLOYED BY ANEURIN BEVAN UNIVERSITY HEALTH BOARDThe Deputy Head of Nursing Education, Development & Regulation plays a pivotal leadership role in shaping and delivering the strategic education, workforce development and professional regulation agenda across the Health Board.
Working in partnership with senior nursing, workforce and education leaders, the post holder will lead the development of innovative, evidence-based learning programmes, workforce pathways and professional practice initiatives that support the attraction, development and retention of a highly skilled nursing and midwifery workforce.
The role provides expert leadership on education, professional standards and regulatory matters, whilst deputising for the Head of Nursing Education, Development & Regulation and contributing to the wider corporate nursing agenda.
This post is a fixed term/secondment for 5 months until 4th February 2027 due to secondment cover. If you are interested in applying for the secondment position, you must obtain permission from your current line manager prior to applying for this post.
