A leading distributor of Japanese beauty products is seeking a Senior Accountant to oversee expense tracking, reporting, and budgeting functions within a growing accounting team. This newly created role will be pivotal in enhancing cost control processes and ensuring financial accuracy as the company continues to expand. The right candidate will be hands-on, tech-savvy, highly analytical, and ready to step into a supervisory position.

Salary Range: $75,000 - $85,000 / year DOE

• Monitor and analyze company spending and cost reports for accuracy and efficiency
• Generate and present financial and expense reports to upper management
• Review and verify coding and entries completed by the Accounts Payable Specialist
• Oversee day-to-day cash flow and investigate discrepancies or unexpected variances
• Assist with month-end close, forecasting, and budgeting processes
• Enhance and streamline internal processes; support automation and efficiency initiatives
• Regularly communicate with cross-departmental managers to ensure transaction accuracy
• Supervise and mentor 1 direct report; provide support and development
• Maintain financial data integrity within Business Central ERP and Excel

• 3+ years of general accounting experience
• Supervisory experience is required
• Proficiency in ERP systems
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and suggest process improvements
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred, but not required with equivalent experience
• Experience in product-based or consumer goods industries is a plus
