Accounting Manager

Our client is a successful and growing Supply Chain & Logistics leader that moves 20 million packages annually across 200+ countries. Driven by speed, continuous innovation, and radical accountability, there multi-carrier platform empowers global brands to scale seamlessly without borders.

They are seeking an ambitious, hands-on Accounting Manager to manage core accounting operations and shape there financial infrastructure as they continue to scale.

• Direct Impact: Report directly to executive leadership as a key partner in strategic financial decisions and operational initiatives.
• Leadership & Growth: Complete ownership over daily accounting functions with room to expand the role.
• High-Volume Environment: Lead a talented, active team in a dynamic tech-and-logistics setting.

• Manage & Mentor: Lead, coach, and develop AP, AR, and General Ledger teams. Establish clear performance benchmarks and build a high-accountability culture.
• Full-Cycle Accounting: Oversee month-end close operations, complex reconciliations, and the timely preparation of accurate financial statements.
• Process Automation: Streamline workflows, identify automation opportunities, and scale financial efficiency across high-volume transactions.

• Internal Controls: Maintain and enforce robust internal control frameworks aligned with US GAAP.
• Audit Lead: Serve as the primary lead for annual external audits, managing work papers and auditor relationships.

• Partner directly with executive leadership on accounting initiatives and collaborate cross-functionally to solve operational challenges.

• Education & Certification: Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Accounting or Finance required; CPA active status or track preferred.
• Experience: 6+ years of progressive accounting experience in complex, fast-paced, or high-volume environments.
• Leadership: Proven track record managing and mentoring AP, AR, or general accounting personnel.
• Technical Mastery: Strong command of US GAAP, financial reporting, finance & accounting software, internal controls, and audit execution. Must have an "AI Forward attitude".
• Mindset: Hands-on, proactive, and analytical with exceptional communication skills.
• Base Salary: $120,000 – $150,000 (DOE) + Annual Performance bonus.
