Summer camp assistant

Position Summary: Join Snapology as a Summer Camp Assistant and spend your summer working with kids and cool learning materials! This entry-level, part-time position pays between $10 and $15 an hour and offers a flexible schedule of 20-40 hours per week, including weekends and evenings.

Role & Responsibilities: As a Summer Camp Assistant, you'll spend approximately 80% of your time having fun with kids in the classroom. We're seeking energetic individuals who love working with kids and can follow instructions. You'll help instructors teach Snapology programs, monitor students as they use learning materials and equipment, and help maintain discipline in accordance with Snapology's rules and procedures.

As an Inventory Support Staff member, you'll spend about 20% of your time organizing and prepping Snapology's learning materials, managing inventory records, and assembling class materials for our summer camps. You'll also have the opportunity to transport materials, complete special assignments, and participate in Snapology training. Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Requirements: Organization skills with attention to details;
Works independently without direct supervision;
Fine motor skills for sorting and counting small LEGO® pieces;
Gross motor skills for general cleaning;
Able to lift up to 10 pounds over head;
Properly calculate basic math problems (counting, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).

Qualifications:
  • Criminal and Child Clearances must be current or must be willing to complete background check
  • Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
  • Proven ability to report to work on a regular and punctual basis

Work Schedule: This position has a varied work schedule depending on program timing. May require some weekend and evening work.

Compensation: $15.00 - $15.00 per hour
