OverviewYamaha Motor Corporation, USA is excited to offer a Senior Compliance Analyst position in Cypress, CA
. The analyst will provide expertise in consumer privacy and information security laws, support compliance programs across the YMFC-US network, and participate in regulatory examinations and audits.
- Lead the development and maintenance of compliance-related programs and processes.
- Monitor applicable legal and regulatory changes and advise first-line business units on implementation.
- Collaborate with SMEs within operations units to develop and update policies and operating procedures; maintain the policy library.
- Support second‑line monitoring and testing, identifying control gaps and overseeing remediation.
- Assist in due diligence, corrective action plans, and department projects.
- Maintain files and records; prepare and conduct regulatory examinations and audits, coordinate responses, and report to senior management.
- Provide second‑line oversight of the customer complaint management process.
- Support the administration of the compliance training program and other ad‑hoc training efforts.
- Perform other compliance‑related administrative duties as required.
- AA or Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Communications, or related field; CRCM and/or CIPP certifications preferred.
- Minimum 6 years of compliance experience in a supervised financial institution.
- Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong knowledge of federal and consumer financial regulations (TILA, ECOA, FCRA, FDCPA, UDAAP, GLBA, CCPA/CPRA).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including drafting professional correspondence and executive‑level presentations.
- Ability to adapt quickly to change and deliver results in a timely manner.
- $75,000 – $135,000 (base pay, subject to experience and role requirements)
