The Electro Optical Infrared Systems (EOIS) line of business within DRS has locations in Dallas and Austin, TX, Melbourne, FL, and Cypress, CA. EOIS develops, manufactures, and supports infrared and electro‑optical solutions for soldiers, ground vehicles and airborne platforms. DRS Network & Imaging Systems in Cypress, CA is part of the Electro‑Optical and Infrared Systems Group of Leonardo DRS and has over 30 years of experience in designing and developing electro‑optical/infrared systems for surveillance and targeting applications. We are seeking a Facilities Manager who will be responsible for the overall management of the facility.

• Manage maintenance and repair of company building(s), equipment, machinery and grounds.
• Plan, schedule, and direct staff of in‑house employees and external contractors in maintenance operations.
• Develop and maintain an operating budget to ensure cost‑effective maintenance.
• Oversee regular maintenance of heating, ventilating, air conditioning and other systems.
• Develop comprehensive annual inspection processes for equipment, machinery and facilities.
• Direct building renovations; coordinate construction, remodeling, and repair projects within budget and specifications.
• Coordinate insurance and service contract requirements with vendors.
• Maintain accurate space‑management and project‑tracking documentation.
• Resolve facility security related issues; develop incident report system.
• Implement policies and procedures for facility security compliance.
• Keep upper management apprised of developments or problems that may affect production or property.
• Collaborate with other departments on facility matters.
• Mentor staff, providing direction to help them achieve goals.
• Establish, implement, and monitor quality and cost controls.
• Develop and manage Emergency Contingency Planning.
• Support and reinforce the mission, values, and culture of the organization.
• Assist management with special projects and assignments as requested.
• Support business plans, acquisitions, mergers, and divestitures.

• Associate’s degree in engineering or related field and a minimum of 5+ years of facilities experience and/or equipment engineering.
• Working knowledge of processing equipment and related support equipment.
• Knowledge of electrical power systems and HVAC systems and controls.
• Demonstrated project management experience with subcontractors.
• Hands‑on leadership and people skills.
• Detail oriented; time and cost conscious.
• Skills in facility engineering.

U.S. Citizenship required. This position requires an active DOD security clearance or the ability to obtain such clearance within a reasonable time after commencement of employment.

Salary Range: $101,237 – $157,169 per year.
