We are growing! Fred Astaire Dance Studios® is excited to be adding to our team of professional dance instructors. Whether you have years of dance or instructor experience or none at all, you could have a successful future with us.
As a high-energy, customer-focused instructor, you will conduct private and group dance classes throughout the week and help students reach their personal dance goals—from a single event to a lifelong journey of dance growth. You will work closely with people from all walks of life, gaining personal enrichment that is rarely found elsewhere.
Studio hours run throughout the week; however, we also host many events on weekday evenings and weekends that you will need to attend with your students.
Requirements- Self‑motivated, enthusiastic, and 100% passionate about dance.
- Outstanding customer service skills.
- Understanding of what it takes to be successful and willingness to commit to the work.
- Hold themselves accountable.
- Unselfish team player.
- Eagerly accept coaching and feedback for improvement.
- Positive outlook – cup is always half full.
- Exceptional physical fitness/endurance levels to perform this role successfully.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with students of all ages.
- A high-energy, fun-filled work environment.
- Variety of activities to participate in and offer students: group and private lessons, performances, parties, and competitions.
