Purpose and ScopeThe Manager, Budget and Finance, is responsible for assisting with budget management, budget planning, and financial analysis. Originates, reviews, and delivers reports and presentations for campus leadership. May also manage day-to-day campus accounts payable, accounts receivable, travel & expense, purchasing, p-card, fuel card and other financial and accounting-related processes. Maintains compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as LSC policies and procedures.
Works closely across campuses to partner on various special projects, evaluates business strategies, and ensures standard operating procedures (SOP) reflect best practices. Requires a detail-oriented, strong, analytical mind that can exercise good judgement and independent discretion in all matters, but especially handling sensitive and confidential materials.

The work is sedentary. Typically, the employee sits comfortably to do the work. However, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying of light items, such as papers, books, or small parts. No special physical demands are required to perform the work.
Work Schedule and Conditions- May regularly travel to different LSC locations.
