Crystal Eyecare is looking for an Office Manager to join our team in Cypress, Texas 77429
!
The Office Manager oversees the daily operations of the optometry practice, ensuring efficient workflow, excellent patient service, and a positive, organized work environment. This role is responsible for managing administrative staff, coordinating scheduling and billing, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and supporting the optometrist in delivering high-quality patient experience.
SCHEDULE- Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 9 am – 5:30 pm
- Tuesday and Thursday: 10 am – 6 pm
- Oversee daily front and back-office operations, ensuring smooth patient flow and timely appointments.
- Manage office scheduling, including patient appointments, staff shifts, and doctor availability.
- Maintain office supplies, equipment, and vendor relationships.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and all other healthcare regulations.
- Implement and maintain office policies and procedures to improve efficiency.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain a professional, welcoming environment.
- Resolve patient inquiries, complaints, and billing questions in a timely and professional manner.
- Supervise patient check‑in / check‑out process, ensuring accuracy of records and payments.
- Supervise administrative and support staff.
- Conduct regular staff meetings and ongoing training.
- Manage staff schedules, attendance, and time‑off requests.
- Oversee billing, insurance verification, claims submission, and collections.
- Prepare and review financial reports, deposits, and expense tracking.
- Collaborate with the optometrist to develop and meet performance goals.
- Monitor inventory levels for optical and office supplies and place orders as needed.
- Assist with marketing initiatives such as patient recall programs, social media, and community outreach.
- Track patient satisfaction and implement improvements to enhance patient retention.
- High School diploma or GED
- Minimum of one year of experience within the optometry field
- Four (4) years of experience in the healthcare industry
- Two (2) years of experience in leadership
