Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Physical Therapy Assistant at HCA Healthcare, you’ll improve the lives of patients by providing individualized care that restores mobility and independence. Job Duties
  • Delivering therapeutic exercises and functional training to help patients regain independence and mobility
  • Applying physical therapy techniques and modalities to reduce pain and restore function
  • Monitoring patient progress and documenting responses to ensure safe, effective care
  • Teaching patients and families how to use assistive devices and follow home exercise programs
  • Working closely with PTs, nurses, aides, and the care team to enhance the patient experience and support a culture of excellence
Qualifications
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support
  • LPTA – Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of Texas (required)
  • Associate’s Degree from an accredited PTA program (required)
  • Minimum 1 year experience in an inpatient rehab setting (preferred); acute care experience a plus;
    New grads considered based on clinical rotations
  • Must be able to work weekdays with rotating weekends and holidays
