As a Home Caregiver with Touching Hearts at Home
- North Houston
, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, including private homes, assisted living facilities, and hospitals, providing companionship, personal care, and homemaking services to our clients. Our Caregivers play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
- Provide compassionate and professional care to clients, including assistance with daily living activities, medication management, and personal care
- Assist clients with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and laundry
- Engage in conversation, play games, and participate in activities to promote socialization and mental stimulation
- Monitor and report changes in clients' condition to ensure timely interventions and optimal care
- Perform light lifting, bending, and transferring to assist clients with mobility and daily activities
- Maintain accurate records of client care, admissible and medications
- Collaborate with other members of the care team to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care
- High school diploma or equivalent required; certification in Home Health Aide or equivalent preferred
