• Day Shift: 3 dietitians daily
• On Call:
  Saturday only, no Sunday coverage

Patient Ratios: 1:75

Responsibilities:

• Conduct timely nutrition screenings and assessments in accordance with organizational policies.
• Perform nutrition-focused physical exams on patients at nutritional risk.
• Identify patients at nutritional risk based on established criteria.
• Evaluate the nutritional needs of patients across various age groups and health conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized nutritional plans of care.
• Monitor and assess the effectiveness of medical nutrition therapy interventions.
• Provide nutrition education and counseling to patients, families, and caregivers.
• Participate in the competency assessment process and achieve a passing score on audits.
• Adhere to nutrition care guidelines, protocols, and evidence-based nutrition care practices.
• Integrate the Academy Code of Ethics in all areas of practice.

Qualifications:

• Required:
• Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or equivalent.
• Completion of an ACEND-accredited supervised practice program.
• Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• Licensed Dietitian in Texas.
• Preferred:
• Two or more years of hospital clinical nutrition experience.
• Experience with nutrition support.
