Base pay range$70,000.00/yr - $75,000.00/yr
Position Title: Bilingual HR Risk and Compliance Specialist
Location: North Houston, TX
Assignment Type: Direct Hire
Compensation: $70 - 75K / Year
Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-5

Key Responsibilities Regulatory Compliance & Reporting- Monitor and maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations
- Prepare and submit required compliance reports, including OSHA logs, EEO‑1 filings, and workers’ compensation reports
- Maintain accurate documentation for audits, claims, and employee verification
- Respond to regulatory inquiries and support audit preparation and coordination
- Coordinate medical and indemnity claims with employees, supervisors, providers, and third‑party administrators
- Track and analyze claims data to identify trends and recommend risk‑reduction strategies
- Manage return‑to‑work processes and ensure accommodations are documented and communicated
- Maintain claim documentation and support periodic claims reviews
- Support safety initiatives through documentation, training coordination, and compliance tracking
- Support compliance processes related to drug testing, background checks, and DOT requirements
- Support onboarding processes and HRIS data management
- Assist with employee records, reporting, and compliance documentation
- Serve as a point of contact for employee questions related to HR, payroll, and workers’ compensation
- Provide employee support with a professional, solutions‑oriented approach
- 3+ years of experience in HR compliance, risk management, or workers’ compensation
- Strong knowledge of employment regulations (OSHA, FMLA, ADA, EEOC, I‑9)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
- Experience in construction, utilities, or field‑based environments
- Advanced data analysis related to claims, incident trends, or cost mitigation
- Experience coordinating with third‑party administrators or external compliance partners
