Overview

Registered Nurse Pre-Operative role at HCA Houston Healthcare North Cypress. We are seeking a dedicated nurse to support patients at every stage of care through the pre-operative process and surgery flow.

What You Will Do In Your Role
  • You will care for and manage the surgical patient in the post-anesthesia period.
  • You will consistently apply the nursing process, critical thinking, scientific judgment, technical skills and leadership to independently deliver safe nursing care to patients.
  • You will collaborate with the patient care team to achieve quality patient outcomes.
  • You will provide communication, confidence, and professionalism as evidenced by active engagement in unit and organizational activities.
  • You will demonstrate teamwork, adaptability, and serve as a resource to the patient care team.
  • You will have accountability for delivering quality nursing care services and for promoting a positive image of nursing.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing is required. BSN is preferred.
  • 1 year of clinical experience as a licensed RN required – Pre-Operative, Pre-Op, PACU, Recovery, OR, Operating Room, Surgery
  • Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License (Employees with RN Compact License are required to obtain Texas RN License with 90 days of hire date).
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
