Municipal Operations & Consulting is seeking a Lead Landscaper to manage parks and wetlands in the 77385 area code (a suburb of Houston, Texas).

• Mow and trim grass around water and sewer plants
• Operate landscaping equipment such as mowers, edgers, blowers, and weed eaters
• Remove weeds, debris, and overgrowth from facility grounds
• Trim trees and bushes to maintain safe access and visibility
• Apply mulch, gravel, or other ground cover as needed
• Perform grounds inspections and report hazards or issues
• Maintain landscaping tools and equipment
• Work diligently on deadline jobs
• Perform related duties as assigned

• Pushing, pulling, lifting and carrying up to 75 pounds

• Exhibit basic navigation skills of the city of Houston and surrounding areas
• Use landscaping tools (shovel, rachets, screwdrivers, pickaxes, axes, etc)
• Self-motivated, able to work independently
• Determination

• Previous construction crew experience preferred

• Must have valid Texas Driver’s License
• Must be able to pass drug test

$17-25 depending on experience and licenses.
