Externship Highlights:
As an extern, you’ll gain practical, real-world experience while working side-by-side with our veterinarians and staff in a supportive, high-functioning environment. Your hands-on training will include:

• Gathering patient histories and conducting physical exams
• Creating treatment and diagnostic plans
• Participating in dentistry, imaging, and lab work
• Observing and assisting in surgical procedures
• Medical management of patients
• Practicing client communication and team collaboration

Cypress, TX (Northwest Houston area)
Duration: minimum 2 weeks, up to 4 weeks, depending on student/hospital availability
Open to: veterinary students
Stipend:
Up to $1,000 for students in their clinical year
