Grow with us! Joshua Tree Experts in Ft. Bend-Cyprus, TX is a premiere team of tree care professionals searching for an experienced Tree Care Groundsman.
The Groundsman works alongside a 2-4 person tree crew assisting with tree removal, pruning, stump grinding, and wood chipping. He/she is responsible for all communication with crew members and the public while climbers are aloft or using aerial lift trucks.

What a Tree Care Groundsman Does- Assist crew with equipment and vehicle preparation daily
- Ensure drop zones are safe for coworkers and public
- Perform pruning and reducing
- Safely use tree care equipment including gas-powered saws, pole saws, and chippers
- Load and unload trucks and chippers with logs, brush, and debris
- Report to work on time each day
- Follow directions from crew leaders and climbers
- Maintain a professional image
- Provide friendly and excellent customer service
- Maintain and service equipment as needed
- Follow safety culture and procedures
- Set up safety and traffic control measures for job sites
- Minimum two years of experience in Tree Care Operations
- Valid driver's license
- At least 21 years of age
- Ability to work 40 hours or more per week
- Ability to lift at least 25 pounds
