Oaks Cypress Lakes Resort, part of Minor Hotels, is looking for an enthusiastic and service‑driven Food & Beverage Manager to join our team on a full‑time basis.

Job DescriptionThis role is essential in overseeing the day‑to‑day operations of the restaurant and bar, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, efficient service, and the development of the Food & Beverage team. The successful candidate will predominantly work evening shifts and must be available to work weekends as required.
Responsibilities- Oversee and ensure smooth, efficient, and professional daily operations of the restaurant & bar.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the property’s food and beverage offerings to promote to guests.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team during service periods to ensure quality service, presentation, and guest satisfaction.
- Supervise, coach, and train Food & Beverage Attendants, fostering a high‑performing team.
- Manage staff rostering, workflow, and service standards to ensure operational efficiency.
- Monitor and maintain compliance with RSA, hygiene, and workplace health & safety standards.
- Assist with stock control, ordering, and reporting as required.
- Drive guest satisfaction, service excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Split shifts may be required on some days.
- RSA certificate required.
- 12+ months supervisory or managerial experience in a similar role.
- 3+ years’ experience working in a restaurant or hotel environment.
- Current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certificate.
- Solid understanding of alcohol service (preferred but not essential).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a positive and professional attitude.
- High level of self‑motivation, confidence, and leadership capability.
- Diploma in Hospitality Management or similar qualification (preferred but not essential).
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
