As a Custom Project Sales Consultant, you will work directly with custom home builders on multi‑million‑dollar projects across Houston, helping them select the perfect doors and openers for each home. You will guide builders through product selection, provide accurate quotes, and coordinate with operations to ensure flawless project delivery.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with custom home builders and contractors
- Visit high‑end job sites to review plans, take measurements, and discuss design options
- Prepare quotes and proposals quickly and accurately
- Coordinate with operations to ensure smooth project delivery
- Represent top‑quality products with professionalism and product knowledge
- Manage your sales pipeline, follow up on leads, and grow repeat business
- Identify new opportunities to expand accounts and increase territory sales
- Maintain a professional image and represent Jacobs Overhead Door with integrity and expertise
- 1 to 3 years of outside sales experience, preferably in construction or home services
- Strong relationship building, communication, and presentation skills
- Experience managing the full sales cycle
- Comfortable with construction plans and project details
- Self‑motivated and organized
- High school diploma or GED and valid driver’s license
- Willingness to learn about products and grow sales skills
- Experience selling to custom home builders or in residential construction
- Knowledge of garage door products or similar technical sales
- Familiarity with CRM systems
