United Protective Services is hiring a dependable, professional, and customer service-oriented Security Officer to work at two Houston-area properties.

This is an active security position that requires extensive walking, regular building patrols, and interaction with tenants, visitors, and property personnel.

We are looking for officers who take pride in their appearance, maintain a professional attitude, and provide excellent customer service.

• Conduct regular interior and exterior patrols of assigned properties.
• Monitor building activity and report suspicious behavior or safety concerns.
• Provide professional customer service to tenants, visitors, and property personnel.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation.
• Respond appropriately to emergencies and unusual situations.
• Follow all post orders, security procedures, and company policies.
• Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude throughout the shift.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, dispatch, and property management.

• Must be able to perform extensive foot patrols for an entire shift.
• Must be physically capable of standing, walking, bending, stooping, and climbing stairs for extended periods.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer knowledge and ability to complete electronic reports.
• Strong observation skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work independently.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Must be dependable, punctual, and maintain reliable attendance.
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
• Must be available to work the entire posted schedule.
• Must reside within 15 miles of both assigned locations.

United Protective Services manages multiple properties throughout the Houston area.

Officers who are willing to cross-train at additional locations gain valuable experience and may qualify for additional shifts and overtime opportunities based on business needs and availability.
