Responsibilities

The Part-Time Worker - Athletics position will assist in one of the following part-time worker role(s) for the  school year.

• Announcer
• Guest Services
• Clock Watcher
• Score Board
• Spotter
• Stadium Assistant Manager
• Ticket Manager
• Ticket Seller
• Ticket Taker

Qualifications

• Recommendation from a District department or campus. Must have met requirements for hire for the selected position.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred for all positions.
• Bachelor's degree or higher from recognized, accredited college or university preferred for tutors and/or professional positions.
• Ability to speak, read, and understand the English language.
• Ability to demonstrate a professional appearance and attitude, maintain confidentiality, and abide by the policies of the Cypress-Fairbanks ISD.

Terms Of Employment

This is a temporary assignment that is available to work less than 20 hours per week for one school calendar year. The position is not required to pay into the Teacher Retirement System (TRS).

Salary/Paygrade

The hourly rate will be determined based on position and the hiring department budget.

• Responsible for various duties assigned by department supervisors, campus leaders, or other staff members.

Work with frequent interruptions, maintain emotional control under stress. Repetitive hand motions; prolonged use of computer. Exposure to working inside and outside (moderate exposure to sun, heat, cold, and inclement weather), moderate exposure to noise, and moderate exposure to extended periods of sitting and/or standing.
