Roll-off containers, sanitation services, potable water, and emergency cleanup are among the services we provide.
Moffitt Site Services is expanding its team. We are hiring a driver to meet growing business and customer needs. We are a family-owned and operated company looking for qualified Roll Off Drivers to join our team. We offer competitive pay and a benefits package after your probationary period. Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Maintains communications with dispatch and supervisor to receive instructions or notice of changes concerning deliveries or pickups.
- Prepares, receives, and provides appropriate documentation for the delivery and pickup of containers to ensure timely service.
- Drive to customer location for delivery, pickup, and relocation all while ensuring safety.
- Secures and covers all loads to ensure safe transport to disposal locations.
- Identify, tag, or communicate any scheduled services not provided for any reason, and never collect any prohibited or hazardous waste.
- Complies with all safety procedures at disposal and processing sites.
- Dump contents at the designated facility (landfill, transfer station, or recycling).
- Maintain accurate records (driver paperwork, daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch, trip reports, vehicle inspection reports, and other relevant information).
- Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and traffic laws.
- Follows all of the FMCSA/DOT guidelines.
- Perform Daily Pre/Post Trip DOT Inspections on vehicles.
- Complies with all mandatory safety meetings and briefings, operational standards and policies, and maintains a valid Texas CDL and DOT medical card.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the truck.
- Reports all safety and service incidents to the Supervisor immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A
- Minimum of 2 years of CDL driving experience
- Hazmat – preferred
- 1-year roll-off experience – preferred
- 40-hour work week plus overtime
- Be available to work out of town for natural disasters
- Operate a company owned roll-off truck to service Industrial, Commercial & Construction customers needing dumpsters on assigned routes that typically change daily in different service areas
- Excellent driving skills and a clean driving record
- Good communication skills to interact with dispatch, clients and team members
- Operating and reliable cell phone (Dispatch and GPS coordinates)
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Must be comfortable working outside year-round in all types of weather
- Exposure to varying levels of physical activities (standing, crouching, walking, crawling, etc.)
- Positive, hard-working attitude
- Continuous learning and adaptability are key
- Maintain a clean vehicle and presentable appearance when communicating with customers

Ability to travel 30% to facilities.
