Moffitt Site Services is expanding its team. We are hiring a driver to meet growing business and customer needs. We are a family-owned and operated company looking for qualified Roll Off Drivers to join our team. We offer competitive pay and a benefits package after your probationary period. Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Maintains communications with dispatch and supervisor to receive instructions or notice of changes concerning deliveries or pickups.
• Prepares, receives, and provides appropriate documentation for the delivery and pickup of containers to ensure timely service.
• Drive to customer location for delivery, pickup, and relocation all while ensuring safety.
• Secures and covers all loads to ensure safe transport to disposal locations.
• Identify, tag, or communicate any scheduled services not provided for any reason, and never collect any prohibited or hazardous waste.
• Complies with all safety procedures at disposal and processing sites.
• Dump contents at the designated facility (landfill, transfer station, or recycling).
• Maintain accurate records (driver paperwork, daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch, trip reports, vehicle inspection reports, and other relevant information).
• Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and traffic laws.
• Follows all of the FMCSA/DOT guidelines.
• Perform Daily Pre/Post Trip DOT Inspections on vehicles.
• Complies with all mandatory safety meetings and briefings, operational standards and policies, and maintains a valid Texas CDL and DOT medical card.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the truck.
• Reports all safety and service incidents to the Supervisor immediately.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A
• Minimum of 2 years of CDL driving experience
• Hazmat – preferred
• 1-year roll-off experience – preferred
• 40-hour work week plus overtime
• Be available to work out of town for natural disasters
• Operate a company owned roll-off truck to service Industrial, Commercial & Construction customers needing dumpsters on assigned routes that typically change daily in different service areas
• Excellent driving skills and a clean driving record
• Good communication skills to interact with dispatch, clients and team members
• Operating and reliable cell phone (Dispatch and GPS coordinates)
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Must be comfortable working outside year-round in all types of weather
• Exposure to varying levels of physical activities (standing, crouching, walking, crawling, etc.)
• Positive, hard-working attitude
• Continuous learning and adaptability are key
• Maintain a clean vehicle and presentable appearance when communicating with customers
