Laboratory Operations Information Technology Specialist – Senior (ILO-):

Bowhead is seeking to network with a highly skilled Senior Laboratory Operations Information Technology Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in engineering, scientific, or technical disciplines, with extensive experience in Naval Tactical Systems or Information Technology.

Job duties will include but are not limited to:

• Manage and maintain laboratory operations and IT systems.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of laboratory technologies.

• Provide technical expertise and support for laboratory information systems.

• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

• Develop and implement operational procedures and best practices.

• Conduct training sessions for staff on laboratory IT systems.

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline with six (6) years of professional technical experience in a related field. OR

• Eight (8) years of experience in Naval Tactical Systems or Information Technology, including six (6) years demonstrating established knowledge and subject matter expertise relevant to specific technical disciplines of the Statement of Work (SOW)

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Must currently hold an active Secret security clearance. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds

• Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time

• Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically
