SCCI is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Engineering Technician III or IV to join our Battle Management System (BMS) team in Dahlgren, VA. The successful Candidate's primary focus for this role will be as a Laboratory Maintenance Technician. This position is expected to execute the day-to-day operations of the Weapons Systems Integration Lab (WSIL) and Platform System Integration Lab (PSIL) and be hands-on for immediate repairs/fabrications.
The role will work both independently and with the Lead SIL Technician to keep all facilities operational. This is an on-site position located in Dahlgren, VA
.

Responsibilities- Support daily operations of the WSIL and PSIL to support the technical team; these duties shall include facility and laboratory equipment maintenance and pre-operational checks, overall lab maintenance troubleshooting and support to higher level maintenance teams.
- Execute daily SIL readiness and repair operations.
- Perform necessary emergent repairs or fabrications to minimize lab downtime.
- Power requirement analysis
- Cabling repair and fabrication
- Prepare and submit deficiency reports as required.
- Prepare and submit Daily SITREPS to stakeholders as required.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain and maintain an active Secret Security Clearance.
- High school diploma.
- Three (3)+ years of experience in a technician role with familiarity in military operations.
- Experience utilizing DoD approved maintenance manuals/procedures to troubleshoot maintenance discrepancies.
- Experience with military radio architecture and troubleshooting.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot basic technical issues.
- Strong understanding of Weapon Control System technologies and principles.
- Experience with weapon systems integration on air, land, or sea platforms.
- Excellent communication (both oral and written) and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reading, interpreting, and comprehending schematic diagrams and blueprints for application of advanced troubleshooting as required.
- Electronics training (FC. ET, AT etc).
- Cable fabrication and repair experience desired but will train. Must be able to verbally demonstrate proper troubleshooting technique.
