Senior Tactical Systems Technician

Amentum is seeking Tactical Systems Technicians to join our team.

You will be part of our growing systems, information technology & software engineering team and contribute to our diverse skillsets across multiple contracts in support of our Centers of Excellence. We are looking for individuals to join our team atmosphere that are eager to make a difference by solving complex Digital Engineering challenges. Apply your skills to the latest DoD weapons and sensor systems, modernizing the Navy and contributing to mission success.

Successful candidates must possess excellent communication skills and interact directly with customers and engineering personnel.

Job duties include:

• Managing Test Environments at various labs, including the Aegis Weapon System Baselines.
• System setup, configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance, as well as providing support to facility users during test events.
• Documenting all work performed and ensuring compliance with security procedures.

Minimum

Qualifications and Skills:

• Ten (10) years of Naval tactical and simulation/stimulation systems experience demonstrating established knowledge and subject matter expertise relevant to the position.
• Ability to direct operations and maintenance of complex Naval tactical and support systems.
• Five (5) years of personnel leadership and conflict resolution experience.
• Experience in communicating problems, providing recommendations, and developing and leading the implementation of project plans.
• Ability to work independently and direct the work of entry/mid-level technicians in completing significant work.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain an Active Top Secret/SCI US Government Clearance. US Citizenship is required.
• Candidates must maintain a valid Real r’s license for access to customer sites and have reliable transportation (rideshare options are not permitted). Travel between local worksites may be required.
