We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team!
Responsibilities- Perform mechanical engineering analysis, design, development, and testing for missile launchers, support equipment, and weapon control systems.
- Utilize mechanical engineering software tools such as Solid Works, LS‑DYNA, or Craft Tech for structural, fluid, and thermal analysis.
- Coordinate mechanical fabrication, assembly, and testing activities to ensure equipment meets design specifications and operational requirements.
- Conduct structural design, finite element analysis, fluid dynamics, and thermal dynamics evaluations to optimize system performance.
- Provide technical guidance and support throughout the lifecycle of maritime, missile, launcher, and weapon systems projects.
- A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline.
- Ten (10) years professional technical experience including at least five (5) years specialized experience in the areas of maritime, launcher, missile, weapon, or weapon control systems concept definition, design, integration, and engineering. Specialized experience shall also include experience as a mechanical engineer performing mechanical engineering analysis and design, utilizing mechanical engineering software tools, coordinating mechanical fabrication, and mechanical engineering test techniques.
- Engineering experience in the mechanical design, development, and testing of missile launcher and support equipment.
- Experience with structural design and analysis, finite element analysis, fluid dynamics, and thermal dynamics. Experience with Solid Works, LS‑DYNA, or Craft Tech software.
