Information Assurance Specialist

Amentum is seeking an Information Assurance Specialist with related education and/or experience to support Naval projects at Dahlgren, VA. You will be part of our growing systems & software engineering team, contributing across multiple prime contracts in support of our Centers of Excellence. We are looking for individuals eager to solve complex Digital Engineering challenges, applying your skills to the latest DoD weapons and sensor systems, modernizing the Navy and contributing to mission success.

Successful candidates must possess excellent communication skills and interact directly with customers and engineering personnel.

Work location:

on‑site in Dahlgren, Virginia. Amentum has supported this customer for over 50 years.

Position contingent on contract award which is expected in 2026**.

• Three (3) years of experience in the development and maintenance of computer systems.
• Experience utilizing DoD approved monitoring and scanning tools in support of system vulnerability management and reporting. This includes vulnerability status tracking and reporting in DoD systems.
• Experience supporting requirements analysis, testing, and system deployment/configuration.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance.

• Candidates must maintain a valid Real r’s license required for access to the customer site and have access to reliable transportation. (Rideshare options such as Uber, Lyft, etc. are not permitted as this position requires occasional travel between local worksites during the week.)
