Asset and Material Logistics Support Specialist

Amentum is seeking an Asset and Material Logistics Support Specialist to join our team.

You will be part of our growing systems, information technology & software engineering team, contributing to our diverse skillsets across multiple contracts in support of our Centers of Excellence. We are looking for individuals eager to make a difference by solving complex Digital Engineering challenges. Successful candidates must possess excellent communication skills and interact directly with customers and engineering personnel.

Job duties include:

Maintain, develop, and monitor reports for productivity and enforcement of client service level agreements for inventory management and logistics.

Perform quality control, repair part management, and property management for all client-owned products and facility equipment.

Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.

Oversee the entire supply chain process, from procurement to delivery.

Maintain an Accountable Property System of Record and the associated property management system to manage inventory and disposition of accountable assets and equipment (including Information Technology equipment).

Serve as a DoD Property Custodian in support of the customer.

Maintain inventory of assigned equipment, goods, and materials.

Conduct issuance and receiving of equipment to/from end users.

Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.

Minimum

Qualifications and Skills:

Two (2) years of experience in material and property management.

Experience with General Equipment, Inventory Management, Property, and Operating Materials & Supplies (OM&S) actions.

Must have an Active Secret US Government Clearance.

Note:

US Citizenship is required to maintain a Secret Clearance.

Valid Real r’s license and access to reliable transportation are required, as this position involves occasional travel between local worksites during the week. Rideshare options are not permitted.
