Overview:
Direct Viz Solutions (DVS) is seeking a Sr. Systems Analyst to provide advanced analytical, technical, and implementation support for complex enterprise systems in a Department of Defense (DoD) environment. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in aligning business and technical requirements, system integration, and architecture planning using DoDAF methodologies and enterprise architecture tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze, design, and implement business and technical requirements to support enterprise-level systems.
- Provide expert-level planning and development support across system life cycles, ensuring alignment with DoD standards and mission objectives.
- Conduct thorough application testing, validation, and integration to support system upgrades and deployments.
- Manage and support database operations, ensuring data integrity, security, and performance optimization.
- Develop and maintain system documentation, configuration baselines, and data models.
- Apply DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF) principles to system design and enterprise architecture initiatives.
- Utilize tools such as IBM’s System Architect to support enterprise architecture development and sustainment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to translate organizational goals into actionable system requirements.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior analysts and team members.
Required Qualifications:
Certifications: Must hold one of the following IAT Level III certifications:
- CASP
- CISA
- CISSP (or Associate)
- GCED
- GCIH
Experience: Minimum of six (6) years of professional experience in:
- Implementing business and technical requirements
- Systems analysis, planning, and development
- Application testing and validation
- Database management and data modeling
- Experience with DoDAF and enterprise architecture tools such as IBM’s System Architect
Preferred Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a business or technical field (preferred).
- Demonstrated success supporting DoD IT initiatives or similar large-scale federal programs.
- Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, collaborative environments with competing priorities.
