The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a Personal Trainer on the Dahlonega Campus. Personal Trainers are responsible for providing personalized workouts to varying age and skill range, for participants in individual and group training sessions. Campus Recreation and Wellness offers a healthy and friendly work environment that is able to accommodate variable schedules. A chosen candidate will be a knowledgeable, energetic trainer interested in promoting fitness on campus.
- Provide personalized workouts to varying age and skill range, for participants in individual and group training sessions.
- Maintain CRW equipment, rooms, and storage areas.

- Implement university and recreation facility rules and procedures.
- Assist with special events, as requested by supervisor.
- Attend all required trainings.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills, and to be able to communicate effectively with their peers, University employees and possibly, community agencies.
- Ability to teach at a variety of times in conjunction with client schedules. Ability to conduct safe and effective training sessions.
- High School Diploma
- At least three months of experience as a personal trainer
- Must have current nationally recognized Personal Training Certification. Must have or obtain CPR/AED/First Aid certification within 1 month of hire.
