The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a Part-Time Temporary Supplemental Instruction Facilitator on the Oconee campus. SI Facilitators are paired with a course in which they have successfully completed and are responsible for leading weekly peer‑facilitated sessions for the assigned course determined by DWF rates of 30% or higher.
Responsibilities- Facilitate two (2-4) SI sessions and/or office hours per week that pertain to current subject material for SI course.
- Plan SI sessions for facilitated group learning.
- Attend lecture to relearn course material.
- Participate in Staff Development Activities throughout the semester, including ongoing training.
- Additional administrative responsibilities.
- Ability to effectively manage groups.
- Knowledge of assigned course material.
- High school diploma/GED required.
- 1+ semester Supplemental Instruction facilitator experience preferred.
