The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a federal work study student for the Boys and Girls Club of Lanier. This position will be responsible for teaching club kids the importance of physical education, developing and administering physical education classes in line with the organization’s goals and objectives, and providing knowledge of developing skills and abilities in physical fitness, sports, exercise, coordination, and agility.

• Conduct ongoing assessment of club kids' growth and progress in physical education activities and modify instructional methods to fit individual needs.
• Assist in coordinating extracurricular activities, including club kids performances, assemblies, and athletic events.

• Ability to maintain a flexible schedule, Monday–Friday.

• Must be enrolled at the University of North Georgia in a minimum of six (6) credit hours to qualify as a student worker.

• Preferred Physical Education, Kinesiology, Sport or Athletic Training majors or related discipline.
