Job SummaryThe Communications Assistant will provide casual labor and assist with the production of articles, videos, and content for the PSIA department’s outreach efforts.

Responsibilities- Write content for departmental website and other communications deliverables, including articles and event reporting
- Manage the development and distribution of innovative and effective communications materials for students, faculty and graduate audiences
- Maintain and carry out departmental communications plan
- Maintain appropriate relationships with faculty, students, peers and alumni
- Work closely with University Relations, Graduate Programs, Admissions, and other UNG departments to maintain efficient and effective working relations and processes
- Perform all other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma or GED
- Office environment background preferred.
- Article writing experience preferred.
- $17.06–$18.77 per hour
