Job SummaryThe University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a federal work study student in the College of Education department on the Dahlonega campus. The Instructional Technology Student Lab Assistant will support the daily operations of the College of Education's Technology Lab. This role involves keeping the lab open and accessible to students and faculty, managing technology equipment inventory, assisting with equipment upkeep, and providing training and support on equipment use.
Responsibilities- Keep the lab open and accessible during scheduled hours.
- Monitor student use of lab equipment and ensure adherence to security protocols.
- Provide basic assistance and training to students using lab resources and instructional technology.
- Manage equipment inventory.
- Perform routine checks on lab equipment to ensure functionality.
- Strong candidates will be able to prioritize work.
- Demonstrate an acceptable level of independence and autonomy when executing assigned tasks.
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service to faculty, staff and students.
- Must be enrolled at the University of North Georgia in a minimum of six (6) credit hours to qualify as a student worker.
- Previous technical experience is not required.
