The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a federal work study student in the Graduate Admissions department on the Dahlonega campus.
Responsibilities- Front desk duties that could include: answering in-coming phone calls, calling prospective or admitted students, answering emails from prospective students, assisting walk-in visitors to the graduate admissions office.
- Assisting graduate admissions staff with projects as requested.
- Basic office and computer etiquette in-person and online, or by phone.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrate a high level of professionalism when speaking with applicants.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work individually with minimal supervision.
- Skilled using Microsoft Word and Excel, Facebook, Instagram, Canva, X.
- Must be trained regarding FERPA and how it relates to college students
- Must be enrolled at the University of North Georgia in a minimum of six (6) credit hours to qualify as a student worker.
