  • Cost & Material Efficiency – Optimize designs for material use, ensuring safety while reducing waste and unnecessary costs.
  • Innovation & Product Development – Support the continuous improvement of pergola systems by developing and validating new structural solutions, connection details, and load-bearing capabilities.
  • Collaboration & Communication – Provide clear, actionable engineering guidance to sales, design, manufacturing, and installation teams, ensuring alignment across departments.
  • Customer & Dealer Support – Assist in complex project evaluations, providing structural expertise to resolve design challenges and win key projects.
Responsibilities

  • Partner with sales and design teams to review proposals and ensure structural compliance.
  • Support manufacturing with design adjustments that improve production efficiency.
  • Provide engineering support for field installation challenges and dealer inquiries.
  • Maintain documentation of calculations, approvals, and design standards.
Success Metrics
  • 100% compliance with relevant building codes and safety standards.
  • On-time delivery of engineering approvals for ≥95% of assigned projects.
  • Reduction in material costs through optimized designs.
  • Contribution to at least one major product improvement or innovation annually.

  • Proficiency with structural analysis software (e.g., RISA, STAAD, SAP 2000, or similar).
  • Familiarity with fabrication and installation practices for aluminum structures.
  • Strong communication skills, with ability to explain technical requirements to non-engineering audiences.
Competencies
  • Analytical problem-solving with practical field-oriented mindset.
  • Precision and attention to detail in calculations and documentation.
  • Adaptability in balancing multiple projects and priorities.
  • Collaborative team player who supports sales, design, and installation success.
