The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a Research Assistant on the Dahlonega campus. With the help of their research project advisor, the research assistant will plan and conduct STEM-related experiments for up to two semesters or one semester and one summer.

• Plan general experimental design with the help of research advisor.
• Conduct research tasks as described in experimental design.
• Analyze results of experiments and formulate conclusions in consultation with research advisor.
• Write summary report and/or create research poster for presentation at a scientific conference, if appropriate.

• General knowledge of the scientific process.
• Ability to work safely and independently in a laboratory setting.

• Must be enrolled at the University of North Georgia in the minimum of six (6) credit hours to qualify as a student worker.
• Successful completion of at least one semester of UNG's CSM lab courses.
