We are more than just a Parts Store; we are looking for talented individuals to join our NAPA family! As a NAPA Counter Sales, you are the "face of the retail store" and the go-to person when customers enter our stores for automotive needs. You don’t need to be able to tear down motors (but if you can, that’s a plus) – a background and knowledge of automotive parts are essential.
This role offers a great opportunity whether you want to build a career as a Parts Specialist, work full/part-time, or explore other careers with us. We welcome all interested candidates!
What You Will Be Doing
Provide auto parts answers and solutions for retail and wholesale customers in person and over the phone.Use your parts knowledge to assist other team members and answer customer questions.Deliver outstanding customer care and interactions.Bring customer focus and high energy to our fast-paced stores.Welcome customers and engage to provide a positive experience.Operate technology systems, cash registers, telephones, and paper catalogs.This Is The Right Opportunity For You If You
Enjoy helping customers with auto parts and service questions.Have gained experience in the automotive industry or through tinkering and repairing cars/trucks.Are willing to learn all things automotive if you lack background knowledge.Want to grow your career within a team that values learning and development.What You’ll Need
Valid Driver’s License.Experience in a parts store or automotive industry, or willingness to learn.High School Diploma or GED; technical or trade courses are a plus.Excellent communication skills.Enjoy fast-paced retail environments.Great listening skills and empathy for customers.Additional
Preferred Qualifications Passion or background in automotive, heavy equipment, farm industry, marine, or dealership.Experience with cataloging and inventory management systems.Customer-centric mindset.ASE Certifications (a plus but not required).What’s In It For You
