Become a part-time instructor for POLI 3520.03:
Peace building and Post-Conflict Statebuilding at Dalhousie University in Halifax and Truro, Nova Scotia. This role involves teaching key concepts of peace building theory and practice every Wednesday and Friday.

In the Winter Term of 2027, this part-time academic position is ideal for individuals with advanced degrees in Political Science. Candidates should have prior teaching experience and published research in peace building or related fields. You will be responsible for delivering lectures, creating course materials, and grading assignments while engaging students in theoretical applications to real-world scenarios.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach POLI 3520.03 in-person on Wednesdays and Fridays

• Prepare lectures and course materials for students

• Assess student performance through tests and assignments

• Foster discussions on peace building and conflict resolution

• Report directly to the Chair of the Department

Requirements:

• PhD or near completion in Political Science

• Previous teaching experience at university level

• Published research on peace building topics

• Excellent communication and organizational skills
