Educational Assistant at L.E. Reinsborough

Position: Permanent Educational Assistant at L.E. Reins borough
Support exceptional students in their learning journey as a Permanent Educational Assistant at L.E. Reins borough. This role involves assisting teachers and meeting the physical needs of students daily.

Beginning in the  school year, this position is for 6.0 hours per day or 30 hours per week. You will be responsible for providing individualized support in classrooms, libraries, and various learning environments. Key tasks include tutoring, preparing teaching materials, maintaining student records, and offering assistance with hygiene and mobility for students with special needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers with classroom instruction and materials

• Support students with personalized tutoring and learning assistance

• Supervise and maintain a safe environment for students

• Help with students' transportation and mobility needs

• Assist in feeding and hygiene for students requiring support

Requirements:

• High school graduation with relevant training completed

• Experience working with children in educational settings

• Strong competence in spoken and written English

• Capability to work as part of a team

• Ability to perform duties for exceptional students
