Instructor of Nursing

Elevate nursing education at Dalhousie University as a Probationary Instructor specializing in Simulation and Education. Your teaching will shape future nurses through immersive learning experiences.

As a full-time instructor in the School of Nursing, you will educate students through practical lab instruction and simulation strategies. You will play a key role in developing efficient training modules while ensuring evidence-based practices in nursing. Engage in a collaborative environment to enhance the quality of nursing education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct laboratory instruction and simulation training

• Design compelling simulations and assess student learning

• Guide clinical practice and help with OSCEs

• Collaborate on scenario development for simulations

• Mentor students during independent practice

Requirements:

• Baccalaureate and Master’s degrees in Nursing mandatory

• 4-5 years of relevant clinical and educational experience

• Eligible for licensing with the Nova Scotia College of Nursing

• Familiarity with simulation methods advantageous

• Advocacy for equity and diversity in education
