Campus Security Officer

This role involves assisting students and staff while responding to emergencies and documenting interactions. As a key member of the security team, you will conduct foot patrols, provide initial responses to incidents, and deliver emergency assistance as necessary. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct proactive foot patrols for community reassurance

• Provide immediate response to emergencies and incidents

• Deliver first aid or emergency assistance when needed

• Document interactions and incident reports accurately

• Maintain knowledge of electronic access control systems

Requirements:

• Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent experience

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Valid Class 5 Nova Scotia driver's license

• Experience with diverse populations in community settings

• Attention to detail and professionalism throughout tasks
