Our client is seeking a Business Support Executive to ensure the smooth running of their Guernsey office as a valued member of the operational support team! This is a varied, hands‑on role offering flexible working hours (30‑35 per week, with a minimum of 25 hours considered), however presence in the office each weekday is essential.

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
  • Managing the day‑to‑day running of the office to ensure a professional and well‑organised environment.
  • Welcoming visitors and supporting meetings and events.
  • Ordering and maintaining office supplies and managing facilities requirements.
  • Liaising with contractors and service providers to ensure maintenance issues are resolved promptly.
  • Supporting board meetings and external event logistics.
  • Acting as liaison with third‑party IT providers and supporting day‑to‑day staff IT needs.
  • Managing office printers, telecommunications services and maintaining IT asset registers.
  • Coordinating staff and director travel arrangements, including flights, accommodation and visas.
  • Preparing travel packs and maintaining accurate travel records and cost tracking.
  • Processing credit card expenses and preparing invoices for digital signature.
  • Managing shared inboxes and distributing incoming mail.
  • Supporting CRM data input and providing general administrative assistance across teams.
  • Promoting a collaborative and positive workplace culture through proactive support and engagement.
Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be highly organised, proactive and confident managing multiple priorities in a professional office setting. They will have strong communication skills, solid IT capability and experience liaising with suppliers and service providers. A calm, solutions‑focused approach, attention to detail and the ability to work independently while supporting a wider team are essential.
