FTC Part-Time Retail Greeter

If you're confident, approachable and enjoy helping customers, this temporary Retail Greeter opportunity could be a great fit. You'll be the first point of contact for customers visiting the store, helping manage enquiries and ensuring they're directed to the right sales or support colleague. The role is 25 hours per week until the end of December, with Saturday working required.

• Welcome customers in a friendly, confident and professional manner.
• Manage the customer waiting list and ensure customers are directed to the appropriate sales or support colleague.
• Keep customers informed of expected waiting times.
• Support enquiries relating to mobile and residential products and services.
• Provide clear and accurate information to help customers make informed decisions.
• Assist customers face-to-face and, where required, by telephone or email.
• Help resolve customer queries and complaints efficiently.
• Develop knowledge of relevant products, services and retail systems.
• Maintain high standards of customer care and represent the company brand professionally.
• Follow relevant regulatory, data protection, security and health & safety requirements.

The ideal candidate will have previous sales or customer-facing experience and a genuine passion for putting the customer first. You'll be friendly, confident and an excellent verbal communicator, with the ability to put customers at ease and remain professional when dealing with difficult situations. An enthusiasm for new and mobile technology is important, alongside accuracy, good presentation and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Microsoft Office skills and previous exposure to a modern retail environment would be advantageous. The role is 25 hours per week on a temporary basis until 31 December 2026, with Saturday working required.
