Working within a dedicated Digital Assets team, this Assistant Trust Manager role offers responsibility for a defined portfolio of clients and exposure to evolving asset classes. It is ideally suited to a technically strong trust professional looking to broaden their experience!

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
  • Managing the day‑to‑day administration of a defined portfolio of trust and legal entities.
  • Assisting with reviews of beneficial owner filings and statutory documentation, ensuring jurisdictional requirements are met.
  • Reviewing and monitoring accounts processes, liaising with accounting teams to ensure deadlines are achieved.
  • Monitoring banking relationships, reviewing account mandates and assisting with account openings.
  • Anticipating client needs and maintaining proactive communication with clients and intermediaries.
  • Organising and attending client meetings and relevant networking events.
  • Supporting the completion and monitoring of investment policy statements and liaising with relevant committees.
  • Ensuring compliance with corporate governance requirements and statutory filing obligations.
  • Assisting with policy and procedural compliance within the team, adopting a commercial and risk‑aware approach.
  • Liaising with tax specialists to ensure awareness of relevant tax considerations.
  • Monitoring timesheets, utilisation and team financial performance, including debtors and budgets.
  • Assisting with preparation of quarterly board meeting materials.
  • Assuming authorised signatory responsibilities where appropriate.
Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge within the trust and fiduciary sector, including understanding of corporate governance, registry requirements and relevant tax considerations. They will hold a professional qualification such as STEP or CGI (or equivalent) and maintain ongoing CPD requirements. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, alongside the ability to review moderately complex documentation with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.

The successful candidate will demonstrate critical thinking, commercial awareness and the ability to work independently to deadlines, while contributing positively to team development and performance. Knowledge of digital assets is desirable.
