Our client is seeking a Compliance Administrator to support their risk and compliance function. The position focuses on AML, CDD and regulatory processes across a wide range of business areas.

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
  • Supporting the delivery of the Compliance Monitoring Programme and related tasks.
  • Maintaining compliance registers and ensuring records are accurate and up to date.
  • Reviewing screening results and investigating potential matches, escalating where required.
  • Conducting ad-hoc screening on clients and potential clients.
  • Assisting with client onboarding and new business compliance processes.
  • Assessing the adequacy of client due diligence and maintaining compliance records.
  • Providing guidance and support to internal teams on compliance-related matters.
  • Supporting compliance projects, reviews and reporting activities.
  • Assisting with business operations to ensure regulatory and legislative requirements are met.
  • Providing cover within the compliance team to ensure continuity of service.
  • Supporting wider compliance and risk initiatives as required.
Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be educated to A Level standard (or equivalent) and have some experience within a regulated financial services environment, ideally within compliance or AML. They will demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, along with good analytical, research and problem-solving ability. A basic understanding of compliance, AML and CFT principles is desirable, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel.

The successful individual will be proactive, adaptable and capable of managing their workload effectively, with a positive attitude and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
