  • Assist with regulatory filings, notifications, returns and information requests for the business.
  • Support the implementation of recommendations and actions arising from the Risk & Compliance Committee, Operations Committee, board meetings, audits, monitoring reviews and regulatory engagement.
  • Assist with the preparation of management information, board and committee reporting.
  • Maintain awareness of GFSC publications, thematic findings, sanctions notices, MONEYVAL-related developments, enforcement outcomes and industry guidance relevant to Guernsey fiduciary, fund and corporate services activity.
  • Support the identification, recording, escalation and monitoring of compliance breaches, control weaknesses, risk events and emerging themes.
  • Assist with suspicious activity escalation processes by supporting internal information gathering, record keeping and liaison with the MLRO.

What i love about my job

I started at Suntera Private Wealth (Guernsey) Limited as a Trust Officer in July 2016, and I was promoted to a Senior Trust Officer within a couple of years. I have also tried my hand at being an Assistant Trust Manager, however, I decided that role was not for me. Suntera were fully supportive of my decision not to continue down the management path.

Although I have not taken any exams whilst working at Suntera, Suntera has been fully supportive of my colleagues who have taken professional exams. Should I wish to take any further professional exams, I know that Suntera will fully support me.

Suntera has some fantastic social events, such as summer parties and Christmas parties. In…
