Our client is recruiting several HR & Payroll Administrators to support their growing operations team on an ongoing temporary contract, with scope for permanency. This role offers hands‑on exposure to payroll, HR documentation and regulatory compliance within a dynamic maritime services environment!

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
  • Processing monthly crew payroll information received from yachts.
  • Verifying payroll data and reconciling wage information accurately.
  • Monitoring cash balances and ensuring sufficient funds are available for payroll payments.
  • Raising invoices to request funds from yacht owners and following up where required.
  • Arranging crew wage payments and conducting daily checks to ensure payments are completed.
  • Responding to payroll-related queries from crew, Captains and Owners.
  • Managing payroll year-end processes accurately and within required time frames.
  • Producing and processing employment agreements and related documentation.
  • Acting as a first point of contact for employment-related queries, escalating where necessary.
  • Liaising with relevant authorities and external bodies as required.
  • Maintaining accurate, confidential records and updating systems accordingly.
  • Supporting continuous improvement of processes and assisting with ad hoc projects as required.
Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have strong administrative experience, ideally within payroll, HR or a structured operational environment. They will be organised, detail-oriented and confident communicating with stakeholders at all levels, including external clients. Strong IT skills and the ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities are essential, alongside discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information. A proactive, team-focused approach and eligibility to live and work in Guernsey are required.
