Working within a growing IT team, this Senior IT Engineer role focuses on managing hybrid environments and delivering high-quality client support. The position offers a balance of hands‑on troubleshooting and proactive infrastructure improvement!

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
  • Delivering 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support across client environments.
  • Managing and maintaining hybrid infrastructure, including on‑premise servers, Azure and Microsoft 365.
  • Supporting identity and access management platforms such as Active Directory and Microsoft Entra .
  • Providing technical support via helpdesk systems, remote tools and on‑site visits.
  • Collaborating with clients to understand business needs and proactively improve IT environments.
  • Escalating and resolving complex technical issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintaining accurate time, billing and ticket records using ITSM tools.
  • Assisting with onboarding new clients, including documentation and setup.
  • Ensuring compliance with information security best practice and data protection policies.
  • Participating in an on‑call rota outside of standard working hours as required.
Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in IT support or infrastructure engineering, with strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy and Microsoft 365. Experience with hybrid identity setups and Microsoft Entra  required, alongside familiarity with ITIL frameworks and ITSM tools. They will demonstrate excellent troubleshooting skills across hardware, software and networks, combined with strong communication skills and a client‑first mindset.

The ability to manage time effectively, work independently and collaborate within a team is essential. A full driving licence is required.
